THE RACK ‘EM UP SERIES
EIGHT BEERS. EIGHT YEARS.
Eight Degrees Brewing marked their eighth birthday with the Rack ’Em Up Series, a collection of eight limited-release beers brewed in collaboration with local businesses.
Our challenge was to design a collectible series that felt exciting with every individual release while coming together as unified set. Bold colours, expressive type, and flavour-forward storytelling gave each label personality, while a consistent visual system tied the collection together. It was a playful, energetic project that pushed the brand forward.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Packaging Design. Production Artwork. 3D Rendering. Design Lead.

DESIGN DIRECTION
We led the concept and execution for the full series, building a flexible visual system that unified all eight beers. Expressive typography, bold colour choices, and playful layouts gave every label its own personality within the Eight Degrees brand. Typographic treatments were customised to enhance individuality,
while layout and colour ensured strong shelf presence. We mentored junior designers throughout, managing consistency and quality across staggered releases and overseeing production from concept to final packaging. The Rack ’Em Up Series was a bold celebration of community and creativity that sparked lasting impact.

The standout was the Metric Stout, which sparked an unexpected and exciting collaboration with Jameson Distillery. Jameson used the empty beer barrels to create a special edition of their Crested Ten Whiskey.
This moment perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the Rack ’Em Up Series: bold, surprising, and rooted in real connections.

BEER WORTH COLLECTING
This was more than a series of beer labels. It was a story told in eight chapters, building anticipation with every release and culminating in a striking full set that captured the heart of the Eight Degrees brand.
