The packaging for Franciscan Well Brewery reflects the heart of Cork’s vibrant community. Inspired by local culture the designs celebrate the city’s rich heritage and welcoming spirit. From the bold look of Rebel Red Ale to the dynamic feel of Chieftain IPA each package tells a story of tradition and connection bringing the essence of Cork to life.

DESIGN DIRECTION
We set out to create a visual identity that feels both rooted and relevant. The design system draws from Cork’s historic character blending classic pub-inspired aesthetics with modern energy. Bold type tactile textures and rich colour palettes create a sense of place that’s instantly recognisable and full of pride.
As Production Design Lead I ensured consistency across multiple SKUs overseeing everything from flat artwork to 3D renders. Every element was carefully crafted to honour the brewery’s legacy while appealing to today’s craft beer drinker.
The result is a brand that feels authentic local and full of character. Every touchpoint reinforces Franciscan Well’s deep roots in Cork while embracing the energy of a modern craft scene.
It’s a sign of pride for the community and a celebration of where tradition meets progress a brewery that honours its past while brewing for the future.
